Neighborrow

I'm not interested in neighborrow website. I don't think it's a good thing. At first, if somebody borrows something from you, when he/she returns it, it is broken. What should you do? Secondly, if you want to try sth, but it's not in your location. Maybe, you have to take a long time to get the item. And when you get it , you just find it is not you want. You just waste the time. The last thing, if someone borrowed something from you, and he/she didn't return it any more. What should you do? For me, I like to lend something to my friends. But I don't like to lend something to strangers.

About the trip to AGO

Last Friday, it was sunny. There was a filed trip in our school. We would go to Art Gallery of Ontario. I wanted to share with my son, so he went there with me. We got there about 11pm. At first my son was excited. He was interested in everything. I showed him the different paintings. Later, he was boring and wanted to go outside. I know he is too young to understand the paintings. So we left there early. When my son is older, I will take him visit AGO again.

Cats are not man's best friend

Cats are not man's best friend. In my opinion, the cat is not easy to take care of. You can't get a cat to use a leash, so it will bring trobles with you. It may go to your neighbour's home, catch their goldfish or eat their food. The second thing is the cat will hurt your furniture when using its claws, especially your sofa. Sometimes it will pull your sweater. You can't keep a cat content to leave the furniture or your clothes. The last thing is the cat can't help you when you need help. When somebody breaks in your door to steal your stuff, or you face an emergency, it can't give you any help. So I don't think the cat is an excellent housepet. If I want a pet, I would have a dog rather than a cat.

My Essay ---- Success Does Not Come Easy

"Success does not come easy!" When you hear this sentence, what's your feeling? If you don't think so, all right, maybe, you are a lucky guy or a genius. I think success for a regular person depends on many factors. They will need goals, perseverance and good opportunities. Success takes a lot of planning and hard work.

First of all , you have to set your goals. You have to know what you want or what you want to be. When you have a goal and want it to come true, you will pay attention and work hard to get new knowledge. You will want to learn new skills to get confidence. You will do everything that you need to do because you have a goal and want to be successful.

Secondly, you should have perseverance. Everyone wants success, but not everyone can succeed. Why? Not all people have perseverance. When you set a goal, at first you may have enthusiasm and energy. Later, you will face difficult situations or something special will happen. What should you do? Give up or keep going? Many people will have this problem. If you give up, you will miss out on success. If you keep going, you will eventually succeed.

Lastly, you need opportunities to prove yourself. In China, there is a famous story about good opportunities. A long time ago, there was a good horse at a farm, but nobody knew how good it was. It did hard work on the farm. One day, a gentleman who knew about horses found the horse and let it take part in the most important race at that time. The horse was a champion. From then on, everyone knew the horse was a super horse. If the horse had not had the chance, I think it would still have been a regular farm horse. So I think if you did everything well, but didn't have the right opportunities, you still would miss out on success.

If you want a harvest, you have to work. When you set a good goal and want it to come true, you have to keep going and catch all good opportunities. Remember, success does not come easy.

A Newcomer's Feeling

I came from China. I worked as a high school teacher for a few years in China. I think the Chinese education is different from the Canadian education. For example, in China people think a good student has to get high marks. Parents hope their child go to university, then get a good job. In Canada, social skills are very important. Maybe you don't need diploma or degree of unversity, you also can get a good job. I think Chinese education is book smart and Canadian education is street smart. In real life street smart is more important.
